Our Business Group Faurecia Interiors, which develops and produces dashboards, center consoles, cockpit and door panels, is looking for a Software Engineer (m/f) for its Méru R & D Center (Hauts-de-France).

Job Description:


Essential responsibilities and duties
You will be an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.
Use your skill set to provide value added software features to our products for our customers
 
The main missions of the role are

  • Provide high-quality software development, the design of software quality assurance and testing approaches, and engineering expertise using modern software development methodologies, which contribute to 100% mission success. 

  • Participate in and lead software development and quality-enhancing activities, including software quality standards development, manual and automated testing, software quality methodologies research, education, and technical community activities.

  • Provide software quality analysis and assurance by conducting static code analysis, automated testing, development of custom test scripts, and integrating a variety of third-party test tools 

  • Develop software infrastructure to support dataset management and automated testing 

  • Provide software engineering expertise at technical interchange meetings, reviews, briefings,

  • Work with integrated centers across geographically dispersed offices, growing capabilities to meet new demands. 

  • Support research and development with software systems ranging from embedded systems all the way to cloud computing 

  • Training and mentorship will be provided

 
 
 
 



Qualifications

 
The ideal candidate would have :


  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science

  • Performance standards to be successful in this position include:

  • Strong knowledge of embedded software and object-oriented programming, principles, and practices

  • Experience with a DevOps development lifecycle

  • Applied knowledge of modern software methodologies

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must work well in a team environment

  • Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills

  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational need

  • Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
