Within the E-Business department, attached to the e-Business Project Manager, the Online Operations Manager will have the main objectives to optimize the online purchasing process and online services.

He/she will collaborate with different internal and external teams to develop and streamline processes for optimal client experience.


Client communication

-   Be the point of contact in Balenciaga E-Business team to keep the regional Customer service teams updated on on-line events (commercial calendar, product publication info, deliveries and other events). Coordinate or provide answers for specific Customer Service questions.

-   Oversee website representation and of key service messaging such as local Shipping and Delivery information and specific brand related information

-   Owner of content and tone of voice of all automatic client messaging

-   Collate qualitative feedback from customers to assist in development and adoption of improved practices


Client orders and deliveries

-   Continuous follow-up of pending and blocked orders in coordination with relevant departments. Ensure that orders are fulfilled within the expected timing or act proactively to find solutions when delays.

-   Follow-up of deliveries; regional delivery options, delivery partners, KPI’s

-   Follow-up and challenge warehouse lead-times for returns and refunds



-   Coordinate E-Business packaging and stationery development

-   Monitor packaging & stationery levels, coordinate packaging/stationery orders and deliveries to local warehouses

-   Definition and regular update of packaging guidelines in collaboration with YNAP teams. Conduct benchmarks for best practices and improvements.



-   Oversee the correct implementation of on-line prices in liaison with Pricing officer and in respect of the price update calendar.

-   On-going monitoring and benchmark on prices on partner websites

-   Coordination of regional sales calendar and discounts.


-   Coordinate logistics of the End of Season stock take-backs – all channels

-   Ensure a regular check of the faulty items in the warehouse

-   Follow-up of fiscal requalification of stock




-   Drive ongoing improvement of all operational processes  to deliver efficiencies, ensuring consistency across the entire operation.

-  Documentation of all processes (manuals, operation bible)

-  Follow-up operational costs and invoices: packaging, etc.

-  Reporting


Educated to degree standard in Business Economics, Management or equivalent at an internationally minded Business School

>2 years of working experience, in an E-Business Department, preferably in the retail industry

Excellent written and spoken language skills in French and English and ability to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment

Advanced MS-Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong communication skills and team player

Ambitious, motivated and able to perform in hectic work environment

High productivity is demanded, able to work with deadlines
