Description

 

The role is a unique opportunity to integrate, and contribute prestige French fragrance brand acquired by Estee Lauder Companies.


PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage the efficient and effective execution of new products and Marketing initiatives to the global marketplace. Provides guidance as necessary in the development and monitoring of projects using all necessary systems.
  • Develop new launch timelines in Timeline Management System (TLM) ensuring consensus of milestone dates from respective business units including Marketing, Packaging, R&D, Product Development, Creative, New Product Purchasing/GSR and Manufacturing.
  • Systematically launch projects in TLM system ensuring all milestone dates are monitored and maintained on a weekly basis to reflect project status.
  • Resolve all timeline issues and negotiate with appropriate department and develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track. Also notifying management of critical issues and next steps.
  • Liaison with Marketing, Product Development, Packaging, Creative, R&D, Global Supply Relations (GSR) in all areas as they relate to product-to-market timelines.
  • Lead regularly schedule meetings with SRP site groups (including 3rd party as needed) to review and update project status as it relates to manufacturing milestones, addressing any outstanding issues.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled PPD meetings to review projects with core project team-- Marketing, Packaging, Product Development, GSR, and Demand Planning.  Identify next actions steps and decisions required by Senior Management.
  • Identify and implement contingency plans as required.
  • Track the merchandising and non-saleable elements supporting launch for inception to launch shipment (samples, displays, collateral) working with Assist in the feasibility / preliminary costing process for new products. Investigate and help resolve issues with focus factories / cost accounting.
  • Insure artwork process is followed and the timeline dates are adhered to.
  • Drive continuous improvement in inventory performance by reviewing and analyzing service and inventory information, adding brand intelligence to assist in the determination of root cause and propose corrective actions
  • Communicate product discontinuations to Basic Business group and Operations
  • Coordinate with Regulatory on all issues regarding product registration and alert markets of all Reformulations, Repackaging, Production Transfers and Discontinued Products.
  • Liaise with International markets & Global Product Supply (GPS) on execution or service issues relating to new product introductions.
  • Ensure functional ownership of Root Cause Analysis and Issue Resolution for matters and events causing a disruption in product supply (QA Issues, Capacity Constraints, Vendor related failures). Facilitate cross-functional dialogue as required, and formalize relevant communication process. 
  • Support and drive process for Brand COGS (cost of goods) in conjunction with Mkt. to plan and drive continuous improvement, manage monthly manufacturing variances.
  • Review and maintain EXOB monthly in relation to new product launch excess, saleable & collateral, inputting comments and feedback to allow proper SRP action. 



 

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Position requires minimum of 5+ years of Supply, Marketing Services, Manufacturing experience in cosmetics or related industry.
  • College / University degree required.
  • Must be an excellent team player with strong analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Excellent follow up and organizational skills required.
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task, establish priorities and yet be flexible in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to use computer systems necessary to meet department objectives including Excel, Word, IBM, SAP, AS400, EXOB, Global Coding, PDS, TLM, CPMS and IMW.
  • Candidate will be based in Paris office
