Role Summary:


An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic regional team involved in the commercial sales and account management of a unique and diverse range of specialty chemicals including waxes and functional polymers. The purpose of the role is to grow the business across Europe, Middle East & African markets.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Selling polymer products to existing and new customers across diverse market sectors
  • Responsible for managing all accounts within the area of responsibility.
  • Develops and maintains sales relationships with major customers.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
  • Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services and their application to customer requirements and competitive market.


  • Bachelor's Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years industry related field sales or sales support experience.
  • Proven sales record, especially in value selling specialty products.
  • Relevant work experience in the chemical industry, in particular waxes and/or additives.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Market knowledge of key industry segments such as personal care, plastics, toners, coatings, inks, adhesives and candles.

  • Independent and self-motivated worker, able to handle remote reporting to his/her manager in another region.

  • Yet also a team player working as part of a global team to manage global and regional customers.

  • Ability to work with people in other countries and cultures.
